Google Analytics is a free web tool for webmasters, its functions is really great and powerful. But there are 3 problems in my option.

1. Don’t support the hourly report. I only read the day report, week report, month report, but there is no hourly report. I don’t know my readers’ active hour times.

2. Can’t modify the time zone. I really don’t know how to modify the time zone. Now, the time zone is -7, but it’s wrong for me and my website, I tried to re-setting it, but it seems no way to do this.

3. The analytics data not current data. Its update every hours, not imedeily. I think if the data update in time, it must be more useful for me.

Tuesday come from Tiu day, tiu is a war god, his name is Tyr. Wednesday come from Woden’s day, Woden is Odin’s other name.

Sep 8th is Bailu solar terms, bailu means White Dew, name of season in old calendar. From that day, the weather will be more and more cold.

I think I wasted lots of time on watching TV. But I really like them. In the last 5 years, I watched lots of movies and films. I like these films:

1. Heroes – this is the 1st US films I watched, but I stopped it from the Season 3, because I found another amazing film.

2. Prison Break – yeah, after Heroes, I turned my eye on this film. It really excellent, it was very popular in China when it was publishing.

3. 24 Hours – I saw it day by day, the most crazy time, I followed the story’s time, saw it more than 20 hours in a whole day.

4. Dr.HOUSE – this doctor story let me feel very interesting and happy, I’m waitting the next season now. The news said that the next season is the final season and will be published in Oct.

5. Friends – when I didn’t known what to watch, I watched Friends, it funny enough.

6. The pain of growth – as like as Friends, it is an old films, I watched it when I was a child, and I watched it again via internet, it could help me remember many interesting memroies.

7. The lost room – this film not long, just 6 episodes, but it is a classical science fiction film. I watched it more than 3 times.

8. Sherlock – another classical micro film. 3 episodes 3 stories, it moved Sherlock Holmes to the present time, I hope BBC continue to publish its sequels.

These 8 films are the most favorite of mine, and I watched much more than those. I think I have to reduce the time on TV. Okay, now I will go to watch the V: The Series.

This article was written in 2007, now there something is changed, for example, I’m not feel lonely. But the other things has not been changed, for example, there still lots of person in China.

As the world’s population surpassed 6 billion in October 1999, China’s population represented more than 1/5 of this total — one out of every five people in the world lives in China.

Today, China’s population exceeds 1.25 billion, China implemented the family planning policy — only one child per couple. Now, the China Population Policy is changed in Beijing and Shanghai, the new policy allow family has their second baby.

In backward rural or urban, this policy has not been effectively implemented, some families have two or more children, that’s happy I think. Why happy? Because they do not feel lonely.

I feel lonely now, I have to stay at home with myself today, no friends, no brothers, not pets, only myself and my computer in my lonely room on Sunday, just computer and television sets accompany me.

I have not feel lonely, because I’ve married, and there are 2 cats and 1 bird in our house.

Read the old posts that posted 5 years ago, I found the most different is, 5 years ago, I just could write one or two words. The length of the post is short, and now I could write long articles.

Actually, I’m really slacking in my English studies. If I blogging more, I would get more improving in the writting skill. However, I think my English skill improves. Blogging is a good way to study English or any other language. If 5 years ago, blog was replaced by twitter, I think that I can writting one or two words still now.

I read the oldest posts of this blog, and decided remove them. Because they looks really ugly. I will removing short posts or expired content of this blog. Blog is not website, don’t need huge contents or subjects. So, I think 10 or 20 subjects is suitable for personal blog.

My blog’s main subject is Beijing, so I will writting interesting stories around this main subject. I think the weather, chinese zodiac, life style and food are the best subject for my blog. The other hand, I will translate some Beijing culture here.

Actually, my blog is http://shangning.net/blog/ and it still running under wordpress 2.7.1. I found wordpress is a good blog system but its upgrade speed is too fast to follow. When I open wordpress’ website today, I found the newest version is 3.2.1, I think my OLD blog is hard to upgrade to the new version.

Then I think the most safety method is re-install it, don’t do anything in the OLD system. This is a good idea I think. Then I installed wordpress 3.2.1 here and copy my blog data from the old database the the new.

It now looks nice and no problem. I think this is a temporary blog, when it runs stable, I will replace the old system to the new. Now, these two blogs are running in the time.
